We work with a wide variety of organisations to support young people, aged 8 to 21, in local communities.
There are no wait times and our service is available nationally. We have funding support available for organisations to access Stop.Breathe.Think, if you are interested in working with our service please send an enquiry to hello@stopbreathethink.org.uk . Once we have received your email, we will aim to make contact within 48 hours but please note that our team do not work weekends.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept referrals from the NHS. This is because the NHS has a contract with Kooth who also provide counselling. If your NHS Trust would still like to explore working with us please contact hello@stopbreathethink.org.uk to discuss becoming a contracted partner.

Once you have contacted us at hello@stopbreathethink.org.uk, we will email you to find out more about the young people you work with. We can then set up a video call to discuss how we may work together; If we pursue a partnership we will provide you with a link to access the service.
Using the link we provide, the young person will choose a date and time to book their intake session with one of our counsellors. This is so we can find out a little more about them and to talk through the process. If they are happy to start counselling, they will be allocated 6 sessions. These sessions will last 50 minutes and will take place on a weekly basis with the same counsellor. All sessions take place virtually either on the phone or via videocall.
If your young person is struggling in between their counselling sessions, they can access our ‘wellbeing drop-in’ sessions, which are available Monday – Friday. These are short 30 minute calls with the on call counsellor. We also have a 24/7 text support service. Your young person simply needs to text Breathe to 85258 to message a trained volunteer.
Our counsellors are all committed and passionate about supporting children and young people, whatever they are going through.
