Congratulations to Youth Ambassador Natty!

Our incredible youth ambassador, Natty, has been recognised with the prestigious Greater Manchester High Sheriff - Young Citizen Award! This well-deserved honor celebrates her outstanding contributions, resilience, and dedication to supporting others.

We are incredibly proud to share that our very own youth ambassador, Natty, has been honored with the prestigious Greater Manchester High Sheriff – Young Citizen Award. This well-deserved recognition celebrates young individuals who have demonstrated exceptional kindness, bravery, and commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.

The awards ceremony, attended by nominees and local dignitaries, recognised Natty for her outstanding contributions. One of the key reasons she was nominated was her incredible ability to turn adversity into strength. Despite experiencing personal loss following the passing of her father during childhood, Natty has used her experience to inspire and support others. She has bravely spoken publicly about bereavement and loss, including participating in a short video and volunteering as a youth ambassador here at Stop.Breathe.Think.

Beyond her advocacy work, Natty has been an unwavering force for good in her community. Her dedication to volunteering is evident in her sustained commitment to Beavers and Rainbows at Bury Parish Church. Additionally, she has made a significant impact within her school, always looking out for others as a peer mentor, mental health first aider, and treasurer of the school council.

Her kindness and leadership extend further, as she actively supports her peers while also working towards and achieving major personal milestones. Natty has successfully earned her Gold Guides Award and Duke of Edinburgh Award. Both are extraordinary accomplishments that speak to her resilience and dedication.

Natty’s recognition with the Greater Manchester High Sheriff – Young Citizen Award is a testament to her unwavering commitment to making a difference. She embodies the values of compassion, leadership, and perseverance, and we could not be prouder to have her as part of our community.

“I’m so delighted to have been nominated, and even more surprised to win. I hope it shows the impact that working with an organisation like Stop.Breathe.Think can have on a young person’s life. I felt so much more confident, less anxious and through my own volunteering I have able to fully contribute in a positive way and to be able to help others. Thank you Stop.Breathe.Think”

Congratulations, Natty! Your achievements are truly inspiring, and we cannot wait to see what you accomplish next.
